Lena Headey got her first break when, after appearing in a school production at the Royal National Theatre, she was cast in the 1991 film Waterland. She has since appeared in films such as Possession, Gossip, Aberdeen, and the Oscar-nominated 1993 film The Remains of the Day.
Headey's later, more known roles include that in the 2005 film The Brothers Grimm (opposite Matt Damon and Heath Ledger) and the 2006 hit 300. American audiences also know her more for the Fox series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, where she played the title role for two seasons from 2008.
