Meet the Cast of 'Make Me A Supermodel' Season 2 Laury from Miami, Florida comes from a family of 11, which should explain how she grew ambitious. When the opportunity to model in Asia came along, she took it, even while she was studying business management at Broward Community College. Since then, she has modeled in Miami, New York, Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Madrid in Spain. Other than modeling, she loves music, dancing, and cooking, with her apple crumb pie as her specialty.
Laury decided to try her luck by going on the hit Bravo reality series
Make Me A Supermodel. There, she became one of 16 contestants to compete for $100,000 and a contract with New York Model Management. Joining the aspiring models is show host Tyson Beckford, who plays mentor along with Nicole Trunfio. Helping out the group is this season’s panel of esteemed judges, including world-renowned designer Catherine Malandrino, model Jenny Shimizu, celebrated photographer Perou and international model scout Marlon.
On the show, she performed fairly well until she was sent home on episode 7, with fellow contestant Kerryn.
