Biography

Lauren London was born December 5, 1984 in Los Angeles, California. She is an American actress, model, and music video vixen. While attending public school in Los Angeles, London began taking drama and auditioning for theatre roles. Though she was later home-schooled for the last three years of her high school career, London’s itch to perform stayed with her.

London began to take roles in several music videos. She has appeared in Pharrell’s videos for his singles “That Girl,” “Drop It Like It’s Hot, and “Frontin.” She also stars in the Ne-Yo video for “Miss Independent” with Keri Hilson and Gabrielle Union. London appeared in T.I.'s music video for "What You Know," which was inspired by the movie ATL, in which London played a role. Lauren has also been featured in Common's music video for "Drivin' Me Wild.”

In 2006, when London learned about that the upcoming film ATL holding auditions, she hired a professional acting coach and convinced director Chris Robinson’s personal assistant to land her an audition. Even though she was two hours late to her audition, London so impressed the casting crew that she landed the role of New New, a roller-skating rich girl who begins a relationship with the character Rashad, played by T.I. London began to garner buzz in the entertainment industry, which led to her appearances on the television shows Everybody Hates Chris (2006) and Entourage (2007). In recent years she has also played a role in the film This Christmas (2007), and has several film projects in various levels of production.

London is a successful model. She has been featured in many magazines, including a cover story in King (June 2006), Vibe, Sister to Sister and Hip Hop Weekly, and is a spokesmodel for Sean Combs’s fashion line, Sean John for Women.
