American television actress Lark Voorhies was born on March 25, 1974 in Nashville, Tennessee. Though she first began acting at the age of two, her career was briefly put on hold as she grew up in Pasadena, California, before resuming when she was 11 years old. Lisa Turtle is portrayed by Lark Voorhies in the NBC television comedy series Saved by the Bell. She follows the latest trends, and is the group's self-appointed fashion expert. Lisa is the daughter of a rich family, with both her parents working as surgeons, and she spends most of her time informing the others about he latest fashions. She has also been one of Zack's best friends since they were kids, and is hinted to actually have had a crush on him at one point. Her ambition is to become a world-renowned fashion designer, though she's often irked by romantic overtures from Screech.
