Actor Kyle Kaplan was born on July 16, 1990 in Los Angeles, California. He got his start in acting in 2003, appearing as part of the Bear and the Big Blue House Live! tour across the country, as well as abroad. Most of his early acting credits were centered in Los Angeles, both in theater and in comedy improv. He made his screen debut in 2004, appearing in the fairly obscure movie Pee Shy, and went on to appear in several other small films before focusing on television.

Kaplan’s television debut was in a comedy pilot, Grand Union, where he appeared alongside now Heroes star Greg Grunberg. Since then, he made other television appearances, mostly guest stints in CSI: Miami, Zoey 101, Hannah Montana, The War at Home and The Riches. During the time, he also starred in movies such as Let Me Count the Ways, Drillbit Taylor and Romantic Weirdos and the Land of Oddz.
