Designer Christina “Kit” Scarbo hails from Los Angeles, California and was educated at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and Polimoda Institute of Fashion Design and Marketing in Italy. While in Italy, she worked as a trend analyst for Mauro Taliani Design Studio in Empoli. She later moved back to Los Angeles to open her own line, Kit Pistol, in 2004. A freelance wardrobe stylist, Kit believes that Kit Pistol reflects a “continual inspiration from art, travel, world affairs, textiles, and a deeply rooted passion for self-expression; ultimately translating to an aesthetic of serious fantasy.” Her other appearances on fashion events include 2006’s GenArt New Guarde, Redbull Ascension F05, Beautiful Fighter Gallery Instillation S06 and BoxEight Collective @ LA Theater F07.
Christina “Kit” Scarbo became known for being on season 4 of Bravo’s Project Runway as one of fifteen hopeful contestants of the reality series. She was unfortunately eliminated on the eighth episode of the show, and has since continued her career in fashion. She works as a stylist, designer and costumer for her own company, Kit Scarbo Ink. She has also been employed as consultant for the women’s skatewear division of Etnies.
