From Brooklyn, New York comes freelance designer Kimberly Goldson. She majored in fashion merchandising management at The Fashion Institute of Technology, but she taught herself how to design. She was even listed in Rolling Out in Atlanta as an emerging designer worth watching. Before concentrating on her work, she used to be employed as a production assistant for several clothing labels and as a manager for the U.S. Census Bureau. She soon found herself auditioning for Project Runway and became a contestant in season 9 as one of 20 designers hoping to make it big in the industry.
