Kimberly Rhodes was born on June 7, 1969 in Portland, Oregon to Frank and Jane Rhodes, who raised her and her sister, Jennifer in Oregon. Rhodes later entered Southern Oregon University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in acting. She then moved on to Temple University to earn her master's degree in fine arts.
In 1996, Rhodes landed a major role in the soap Another World, for which she earned a Soap Opera Digest award for Favorite New Couple alongside Mark Pinter. She then moved on to play Cindy Harrison in
As the World Turns , and since then has appeared in a number of television series including Becker, Touched by an
Angel , Strong Medicine, Boomtown,
Without a Trace and
CSI .
In 2005, Rhodes signed with Disney to play Carey Martin in their successful comedy series, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. A year later, she married independent film director Travis Hodges in her hometown. Among the 76 guests were Suite Life co-stars, along with her closest friends and family. Later on, she landed roles in series like House and Supernatural.
Aside from acting, Rhodes enjoys singing and dancing. She is also trained in four different areas of On Stage combat, namely hand-to-hand, quarterstaff, rapier, and dagger. She has made the choice to become a full-time mother, but she hopes to be back on screen when she finds herself looking into more projects to expand her career even more.
