Kim Prentiss is one of the 10 contestants on ABC's reality game show Oprah's Big Give
, where each contestant is given a large sum of money as they compete in finding “the most powerful, sensational, emotional and dramatic ways to give to others.” After going through a midlife crisis, Kim decided to truly turn her life around. Admitting that she's been selfish and used to think only about herself, she now wants to spend the next half of her life giving back. “I didn't think that my life was being lived properly. I felt like I wasn't doing my part,” she said. She joined the show because she wanted something to force her to make the transformations she's been thinking about.
