American actor Khamani Griffin was born on August 1, 1998 in Oakland, California. He started acting when he was only two years old, already starring in several television commercials, as well as some print ads. He made his acting debut in 2003, when he joined the cast of the family film Daddy Day Care. He became known to audiences as Ben, the son of lead character Charlie Hinton (Eddie Murphy), who established his own day care center. He describes the role as something God-given.

In 2003, Griffin joined the cast of the sitcom All of Us. Co-created by Will and Jada Pinkett Smith, it revolved around the life of a television reporter (Duane Martin) who shares custody of his son, played by Griffin, with his ex-wife (LisaRaye McCoy). The series was saved from cancellation in 2005, but was ultimately cancelled in 2007.

Griffin also played guest roles in ER, My Name is Earl, Without a Trace and Carpoolers. He also provided his voice for the animated features Barnyard and Happy Feet. In 2007, he appeared in yet another Eddie Murphy film, Norbit, where he plays a younger version of the lead character.
