Born on September 18, 1979, graphic designer Kevin has been through quite a lot in his life. One of his proudest accomplishments is growing up as a Jehovah’s Witness and being eventually excommunicated at the age of 21. Though his ties with family and friends hurt him, he instead chose to look for happiness. He soon thrived and went on with his life as joyfully as possible.
Kevin describes himself as ghetto and fabulous, in addition to being a bit inappropriate. He might not have a temper, but he knows how to magnify a person’s flaws. He warns others about his tendency to be mean, especially if you touch a nerve.
With his exotic looks, Kevin calls himself “blackanese.” According to him, this is a tribute to his African-American and Japanese heritage. He’s ready to take on the game that is Big Brother, but knows that the most difficult part of it is the duration.
As a contestant on the 11th season of Big Brother, he competed against 11 other aspirants and a mystery houseguest. The show is hosted by Julie Chen, and is executive-produced by Allison Grodner, Rich Meehan and Scott Einziger.
The strategy Kevin’s hoping to pursue is to set small goals for himself. With pace as the trick, he knows he can throw a few battles just to win the whole war. He’s also a master of deception, having grown up in the closet. Another thing worth noting about Kevin is his eagerness to win, not just the money. He wants to reconnect with his parents, since they haven’t kept in touch for so long.
He made it to the Final Three of the competition, but was eventually evicted by Jordan.
