Survivor: Palau (Season 10) - runner-up
Katie Gallagher Biography:
Born on May 28, 1975 in Merced, California, Katie Gallagher moved to Long Branch, New Jersey in order to pursue her tertiary education at Monmouth University. She not only obtained her degree in communication in radio and television, she was also the magna cum laude of her graduating class. Prior to her job as a radio sales’ advertising executive, Gallagher worked as a camp counselor, outdoor education instructor and sales representative. She likes to spend her free time camping, gardening, performing on stage, and shopping.
She put her adventurous side in control when she became a contestant on Survivor: Palau. Her perseverance and well-established alliances helped her to gain a place in the Final Two with fellow Koror tribe member, Tom
. Unfortunately for Gallagher, the majority of the jury decided to give the title of Sole Survivor and the prize money to Tom during the final tribal council. Despite her honesty, most of the jury perceived her to be mean and undeserving.
