Judith Braun became known for being one of the contestants of Bravo's reality TV series Work of Art:The Next Great Artist. She studied illustration at the Fashion Institute of Technology in 1965 and continued to pursue four art-related degrees. She has since had eight solo exhibitions from Spain to Miami and New York. Her dreams have gotten her far, giving lectures at the Art University of Berlin and setting up an exhibition at the New Museum of Contemporary Art. She was eliminated in the third episode of the competition and has since continued merging sexual and racial innuendos in her work. Though she started painting realistic figures, she has been open to other mediums of art since.
