Jocelyn “Joy” Bisco is a Filipino-American actress born on October 15, 1975 in San Diego, California. She started appearing on TV in commercials and in her debut movie The Debut where she played Annabele Manalo. She was also given minor roles as a rapper and cheerleader, such as in Not Another Teen Movie. Her major television appearances include Port Charles, a General Hospital spin-off, One on One and Blade Squad. Her guest roles include those in CSI: Las Vegas, Desperate Housewives, The Division, The Bold and the Beautiful, and ER. Her other screen credits include Diagnosis Murder, Jag, and Strange Luck. In junior high, Joy Bisco says he remembers rushing home from school with her sister just to catch the last 30 minutes of Santa Barbara, another NBC soap which ran from 1984 to 1993 and she admits being hooked to the series. At times, when she was unable to watch one of her soaps Port Charles, she used to ask her sisters to tape it. According to her, she is very close to her family. And though she likes the different ambiance of New York, she says the one thing that prevents her from moving is her family. She graduated from California State University in Northridge after attending Bell Junior High School.
Joy Bisco currently owns a paintball shop with her boyfriend. They used to work at a skateboarding store together, then for a paintball manufacturer. When the owner had some financial problems had wanted to sell the paintball retail store, Joy Bisco jumped at the chance and now says she loves spending her time at the store, which is located in Canyon Country, California. She also likes playing paintball but is not really keen on playing that much because of the welts that, according to her, stay forever.
