Joseph Aaron Segal is a designer and a part-time teacher in the textiles department at Rhode Island School of Design. In the past, he has worked as a coffee-shop barista, sugar-cookie decorator, art handler, gallery assistant, movie-theater projectionist, candy-store manager and pastry baker, among other jobs.
With a BFA in painting and art history from University of Massachusetts, Amherst and MFA textile design from Rhode Island School of Design, Joseph has already created two brands: World of JAS and Pretty Snake collections. He also joined the cast of Project Runway season 11.
