Born in California on October 22, 1990, Jonathan William Lipnicki is an American actor. He attended Agoura High School, and also practices Brazilian jiu jitsu under Alan Zborovsky. He is also known for playing the drums and being in a band.
Jonathan Lipnicki made his film debut playing the son of Renée Zellweger’s character in 1996’s Jerry Maguire. He was remembered for the role, and was subsequently cast in an episode of The Single Guy in 1997, as well as appearing regularly in The Jeff Foxworthy Show. He was also given a role in the 1997 sci-fi comedy series Meego, and has also appeared in Dawson’s Creek as Buzz Thompson. He lent his voice to a baby tiger in 1998’s comedy Doctor DoLittle, starring Eddie Murphy. The next year, he was cast as the star of the film Stuart Little. He reprised this role in the 2002 sequel, Stuart Little 2.
In 2000, Lipnicki played the lead character in the movie The Little Vampire. He then starred opposite Bow Wow in 2002’s sports comedy Like Mike. He has also appeared on an episode of The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn, as well as being given a role in Touched by an Angel. In 2003, he was cast as Toby Wilson in When Zachary Beaver Came to Town. He has not appeared on blockbusters, choosing to star in independent films. In 2005, he was featured in The L.A. Riot Spectacular, as well as voicing a character on an episode of the animated series Family Guy. He has also appeared on the season preview of Blowin’ Up, a comedic reality show by Jamie Kennedy. Jonathan Lipnicki has also ranked the 13th on VH1’s list of the “100 Greatest Kid Stars.” He is also known for his charity contributions, and is the international spokesperson for Pediatric Chiropractic and Kids Day American/International.
