Originally from Manasquan, New Jersey, Jon is a 27-year-old customer engineer says he has two sides: the professional and the party guy. He left New Jersey to avoid becoming a beach bum. Jon is one of the 20 younger guys in the dating reality show The Cougar, who competes for the affection of 40-year-old Stacey, a successful real estate agent and a divorced mother of four. He says he prefers dating cougars because they are more goal-oriented and are past the crazy stage that everyone undergoes. As an example of his romantic side, he said he once held a scavenger hunt for a woman he was dating. In his spare time, he does cross-country, swimming, kayaking, and kickball.
