American actress Jodie Sweetin was born on January 19, 1982 in Los Angeles, California. Best known for the role of Stephanie in the classic sitcom Full House, she also came into prominence for her battle with drug addiction, in particular crystal meth. After majoring in mass communications at Chapman Univeristy, she first began her acting career in commercials, doing ads for companies such as Oscar Mayer and Disney. She also appeared in television shows such as The Hogan Family, Party of Five, Yes, Dear, and Brotherly Love. She was formerly married to a police officer, though after her addiction was revealed and she entered rehab, they settled a divorce.
