Meet the Cast of 'Top Chef' Season 5

Jill Snyder is one of the contestants of the fifth season of the Bravo reality show Top Chef. The 28-year-old Latrobe, Pennsylvania native became interested in food during her childhood, spent baking cookies and picking berries at her uncle’s farm. Although she didn’t plan on becoming a chef, she took up culinary studies anyway at Baltimore International College and went on to train with restaurateur Spike Gjerde. Currently she works as the executive chef of Red Maple, a restaurant based in Baltimore.
