Jill Clayburgh was born on April 30, 1944 in New York City to a Jewish family. She was educated at Sarah Lawrence College where she discovered her love for acting. She later joined the Charles Street Repertory Theater in Boston. She appeared in many Broadway productions, including The Rothchilds and Pippin. Her films include The Wedding Party, An Unmarried Woman, Starting Over, Silver Streak, and La Luna. Her television appearances include roles in The Practice, Ally McBeal and Dirty Sexy Money. She also guest starred in Nip/Tuck
Letitia Darling is played by Jill Clayburgh in the television series Dirty Sexy Money. Letitia was the Darling family matriarch who is a socialite of formidable standing in New York. She was devastated by Devlin George's death, because she secretly had an affair with him which lasted for years. Only Karen, her daughter knew about this.
