Freelance designer Jesus Estrada is a native of Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico. As a child, he found that he really enjoyed dressing up Barbie dolls and got more and more interested in style. He then decided to pursue this ambition, attending Fashion Careers College and working with Somsi Couture.
Since then, Jesus Estrada has worked in a caf? before really getting into the fashion business. This talented and outgoing designer was commended for his take on the process and his products as well. It was his school that suggested he join the hit reality TV competition Project Runway, and he eventually agreed.
Soon, Jesus Esrada found himself as a contestant for the reality TV competition’s seventh season, set in New York. He became one of the 16 designers vying for the top prize and the chance to launch their careers in the fashion industry. He was unfortunately eliminated on episode 4, where the designers had to create a look for a Fashion Week gala. He has since continued working on his own line, in addition to showcasing his work alongside other designers.
