Born on September 24, 1985, Jessica Lucas is a Canadian actress. When she was only 7 years old, she began receiving professional acting lessons from the Children’s Theatre Arts. From 1992 to 1994, she appeared in their productions of Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs, Grease, Mousetrap, Cinderella and Music Medley.
In 2000, Jessica Lucas appeared on an episode of the sci-fi series Seven Days. This was followed the next year by a role in Where Did You Sleep Last Night? She was then cast as an extra in the made-for-TV movie Halloweentown II: Kalabar’s Revenge. Lucas is also a regular cast member of the Canadian drama series Edgetown. She played the character Bekka Lawrence, alongside Kristin Kreuk and Grace Park. She has also appeared on the series The Sausage Factory, and had a supporting role in Damaged Care. In 2003, she starred in six episodes of 2030 CE, portraying the character Jakki Kaan. She was also a guest in the series Romeo! as well as being cast as Roxanne in an episode of The L Word.
Jessica Lucas is also known for playing Sue Miller on Life As We Know It, a drama released in 2005. The next year, she played Yvonne in the comedy She’s the Man, starring Amanda Bynes. Lucas was then cast on the pilot episode of Secrets of a Small Town. She was also given the role of Kate Tunney in the 2006 horror The Covenant, where she was cast alongside Steven Strait and Laura Ramsey. In 2007, she joined the cast of the mystery series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Her character, Ronnie Lake, was once temporary, but was eventually declared to be a recurring character on the show. Jessica Lucas has also been cast in 2008’s sci-fi thriller Cloverfield, where she was given the role of Lily. In 2009, she was cast as Riley Richmond on the modern reboot of the 90s series Melrose Place. She likewise appeared on 90210 as Kimberly McIntyre, an undercover cop who had a relationship with Ryan Matthews. In 2010, she was cast as Riley Kuleck on the NBC comedy Friends with Benefits.
