Jess Brillhart is a 22-year old computer specialist from Brooklyn, New York. Brillhart started her love affair with film as a fan of Jim Henson and his creations. She was especially enamored with the educational children’s show, Sesame Street, and used to direct stuff animals while perched on her very own Big Bird director’s seat. Apart from Henson’s Muppets, Brillhart was also raised on computers and with her active imagination, naturally ventured towards taking up film studies at Tisch School of the Arts. She also traveled to South Africa to produce a documentary and worked at various film festivals. Her directing influences include Akira Kurosawa, Federico Fellini, Woody Allen, Ridley Scott and Steven Spielberg.
