Theatre regular Jennifer Malenke graduated with a BM in Vocal Performance from Millikin University in Illinois. She soon took her dreams to Broadway, appearing in the Tony Award-winning revival of Into the Woods. Malenke starred alongside Vanessa Williams and John McMartin, with the play being written by James Lapine. After several works on stage, she originated the role of Barbara in the world premiere of Twice Upon a Time written and directed by Ray Cooney and starring Millicent Martin at CLOSBC in Redondo Beach. Malenke was also credited for originating the role of the Bride in Hotel C’est L’amour, by John LaChuisa. It premiered at the Noah Wyle’s Blank Theatre Company in Los Angeles.
Jennifer Malenke has been seen on many regional productions, and even sings at the Upright Cabaret in Los Angeles. She has also been the host of AMC’s AMC Date Night. Other than her stage work, she appeared on numerous national and regional commercials on television. She has also voiced a character on an episode of the animated series Ben 10. Jennifer has also taught voice and piano at the Studio New Canaan in Connecticut, as well as the MGray Music Academy and the Burbank Music Academy. She had been the musical director at Chaffey High School in Ontario, CA. and was appointed faculty for the ABC reality show High School Musical: Get in the Picture.
