Jennifer Esposito was born on April 11, 1973 in Brooklyn, New York. She is of Italian descent. Her first appearance was in Law & Order in 1986, however, she is best known as Stacey in the primetime hit Spin City. She also made an appearance on I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. She gained further success when she played the role of Ruby in Spike Lee's controversial Summer of Sam. Her other films include Wes Craven Presents: Dracula 2000 and Crash.
Andrea is played by Jennifer Esposito in the comedy series Samamtha Be Good. Andrea is Sam Newly’s best friend. Sam got into an accident which left her in an eight-day coma. When she wakes up, she is diagnosed with amnesia and now she struggles to rediscover herself—someone who wasn’t pleasant at all. Andrea is just one of her clues to figure out how she can rediscover herself and change for the better.
