Jeanne Greenberg Rohatyn is known for being the daughter of prominent art dealer Ronnie Greenberg and art educator Jan Greenberg. However, she has emerged in the art industry on her own as a gallerist, art advisor, collector and independent curator. She was educated at Vassar College, and went on to undertake graduate studies ant NYU's Institute of Fine Arts. At the time, she also worked for the Brooklyn Museum and the Royal Academy in London. She also becmae the director of Jeffrey Deitch, Inc. and founded Salon94. It housed several exhibits from contemporary artists, and was quite a success.
A judge of reality series Work of Art: The Next Great Artist, Jeanne Greenberg Rohatyn is also on the Board of White Columns, one of NY's art spaces. She is also on the President's Council of the DIA Foundation and was named the Chair of the Board for the performance art organization Performa.
