Eleven-year-old Jasmine from Atlanta, Georgia is an aspiring entertainer, and looks up to Denzel Washington, Miley Stewart and Raven Symone as her favorite entertainers. She believes that George Bush wasn't a good president and that environmental problems are the biggest problems the world faces. Jasmine also values responsibility and believes in investing in research for solar energy.
Jasmine is featured on CBS' Kid Nation, a reality show that sends 40 kids aged 8 to 15 to Bonanza City, New Mexico. Once there, the youth's endurance is tested to see if they can manage to govern the group and establish rules and regulations by and for themselves. Every three days, the group holds a town meeting to discuss certain issues and problems, and to award an individual worthy of the gold star worth $20,000.
