Biography

Jacob Lusk is a Top 13 finalist on the tenth season of American Idol. Born in Compton, California, he auditioned in Los Angeles. He began singing when he was four years old, mostly performing in church services and programs. He was also part of the gospel group InNate Praise, headed by the late rapper Nate Dogg. Before Idol he worked as a spa concierge. He rose to prominence when Randy Jackson called his performance of "God Bless The Child" during Hollywood week the best in the show's history. He was eliminated during Top 5 week.
