Forty-nine year old Jackie Evans from Frankfort, Illinois is a happy and lovable woman who can't seem to stop smiling. She values her family and community, as she and her husband had founded a non-profit organization named Reach Out for Life, which aims to take care of latchkey kids and youth at risk. The organization has now grown to include a summer camp for kids as well. Jackie's work involves handling 50 employees all year-round, thus she has no time at all to cook for her family. Thus they were forced to live on fast food, depriving them of the right nutrition for their growing needs. Jackie then convinced her son to join NBC's The Biggest Loser last year. The two often dined at the Olive Garden, which was Jackie's weakness. Now, however, she cannot wait to become part of the reality series because she wants to feel sexy and wear a stunning black dress again. Jackie's New Year’s resolution is to put her wedding ring back on.
Jackie and her son, Dan
have gone through a lot together, considering that they both work in a company that was founded by their own family. Wanting to overcome their weight problem together, Jackie and Dan join NBC's The Biggest Loser 5 as the Orange Team. Jackie entered the competition weighing 246 lbs.
