Born on October 30, 1981 in New York City, Ivanka Marie Trump is the daughter of business tycoon Donald Trump and his first wife, Ivana Zelnickova. She received her education at Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, Connecticut, Chapin in New York City, Georgetown University and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where she earned a degree in economics.
In 1997, Ivanka had her first magazine cover with Seventeen. This marked the beginning of her modeling career, as she showcased Versace, Marc Bouwer and Thierry Mugler in various runways. She also appeared in ad campaigns for Tommy Hilfiger and Sassoon Jeans. She was the cover girl for Stuff magazine's August 2006 and September 2007 issues, Forbes, Golf Magazine, Avenue Magazine, Elle Mexico and Harper's Bazaar October 2007 issue. As for her television appearances, she has graced the stage of the Miss Teen USA Pageant as its host in 1997. In 2003, she was featured in Born Rich, a documentary about the experience of growing up in an affluent family.
In 2005, Ivanka became part of the Trump Organization's development team, in which she handles various aspects of real estate development such as deal evaluation and analysis, pre-development planning, construction, marketing, operations, sales and leasing. She was also successful in her efforts of bringing the Trump International Hotel & Tower to world-wide recognition and acclaim. Her current projects include the Trump International Hotel & Tower on the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, the Trump Ocean Club in Panama City, Panama and various other real estate endeavors in Europe, South America and Asia.
In 2007, Ivanka Trump replaced Carolyn Kepcher as a primary boardroom judge in the sixth season of The Apprentice.
