Biography

Hunter Parrish is an actor who is most famous for his role as Silas Botwin on Showtime's dark comedy series Weeds. Before starring on the cable series, Hunter had guest appearances in several series in the small screen such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Summerland and Close to Home. His film credits include Sleepover and Freedom Writers, starring alongside two-time Oscar winner Hilary Swank.

A graduate of Plano Senior High School and Texas Tech University Independent School District, Parrish is also a stage actor who has received critical acclaim for his performance as lead character Melchior Gabor in the -Award-winning Broadway musical Spring Awakening – a role he played from August 2008 to January 2009.
