Guy Bavli is featured as a contestant in the NBC network’s competitive reality television series Phenomenon. He originally hails from his hometown of Tel Aviv in Israel, and presently resides in Sunrise, FL. Bavli is the youngest of three sons, yet he has suffered from being overweight as well as having to endure the divorce of his parents. He then turned instead to studying illusions as a source of comfort. One of his inspirations was Uri Geller, whom he watched on Israeli television. Bavli’s first-ever presentation came at a country club in Tel Aviv, back when he was a mere eight years old.
He continued to study and try to perfect his craft, with most of his learning coming from reading books. Bavli would later go on to serve with the Israeli armed forces for three years, and became known as a soldier provided entertainment with a mind-reading act. He likewise grew involved with a performing group attached to the Air Force. Among Bavli’s later work is a three-year contract with Caesar’s Palace located in Las Vegas, and he continues to travel worldwide for various performances. He is engaged to be married and has a seven-year-old daughter.
