Biography

American actor Grayson McCouch was born on October 29, 1968 in New York City. He graduated from Hamilton College with a theater degree, and received further training at the British American Drama Academy. He started acting on stage, appearing in several regional productions as well as those staged in London.

He got his start on television in 1993, when he played the role of Dr. Morgan Winthrop in the soap opera Another World. He then moved to Los Angeles, where he began appearing in several television shows as a guest. These include stints in The Cosby Mysteries, Beverly Hills 90210, The Agency and Forbidden Island. In 1998, he joined the cast of the short-lived western Legacy, where he played the eldest son Sean Logan. He also had a recurring role in the mystery drama All Souls.

In 2003, McCouch joined the cast of the daytime soap As the World Turns. He played the role of Dusty Donovan, the hair to the Stenbeck fortune, and husband of Jennifer Munson (Jennifer Ferrin). His many misdeeds made him a hated figure in Oakdale, and when his character was murdered in 2008, barely anybody showed up at his funeral. McCouch is set to reprise the role, however, later in the year.

McCouch has also appeared in several films. He had notable roles in Armageddon and Throttle, and also appeared in the television movies Sins of the Mind, Momentum and The Apostles.
