Graham Bunn was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. He played college basketball for Appalachian State University, where his team won the Southern Conference Championship in his senior year. He went on to play professional basketball in Europe after graduating until an injury brought him back home.
Graham Bunn was one of 25 eligible men competing for DeAnna's love and affection on the 4th season of The Bachelorette. In the second episode, he went on a one on one date with DeAnna, where he received a rose. Graham Bunn was eliminated on the sixth episode of the fourth season of The Bachelorette.
DeAnna sent Graham home after feeling that he didn't open up enough to her. After the rose ceremony ended, she walked him outside to say goodbye. He pulled a letter for her out of his pocket that had everything he had ever wanted to say to her. The letter brought DeAnna to tears and she started to second guess her decision as his limo pulled away.
In an interview after The Bachelorette, Graham said that DeAnna was a great person, but not his type. He also said the show was not editing DeAnna and portraying her accurately to America but gave no reason for that claim.
