Gina Choe was born in the year 1984 in Tampa, Florida. She was working as a Korean Translator before she competed in America's Next Top Model, Cycle 6. She stands at 5 feet, 8½ inches and likes to read magazines such as Vogue and Vanity Fair. She also loves to eat pasta, but is terribly afraid of heights, dying young and speaking in public. Gina likes to listen to rap music, and is also a fan of bowling and football. Her favorite animal is the dog, while her favorite television show is Frasier.
When Gina became a Finalist on America's Next Top Model, Cycle 6, she had gotten along with all of the girls except one, and that was her fellow Top Model finalist Jade Cole
. Gina was being constantly attacked by Jade, and the pressure of having to deal with the conflict led Gina to do badly, not just in the photo shoots, but also during a runway challenge, where they had to walk with cockroaches on their bodies. Her pictures from the fourth photo shoot made the judges frown, and ultimately, the judges decided to eliminate her because they felt that Gina lacked confidence and potential.
After appearing on the show, Gina has expressed that her passion for modeling is still very much alive, and she believes that her experience on the show taught her how to handle negativity, something that is constant in the fashion and entertainment industry. She also defended her "walk", saying that she can easily strut in high heels, despite what was shown on television.
She then moved to Florida and signed with Ford Models Miami under the Lifestyle division.
