Gillian Taylforth was born on August 14, 1955 in London. Her claim to acting fame came when she landed the role of Kathy Beale on the long-running show, EastEnders. Taylforth studied at London's Anna Scher Theater School and worked as a secretary before getting her big break on television. Taylforth remained as Beale for 15 years on EastEnders and was disappointed when her character was eventually killed off. She then landed the role of Jackie Pascoe-Webb on Footballers' Wives and has also secured a hosting job with another show, Loose Women. Taylforth has had a much-publicized, rocky relationship with partner Geoff Knights for almost two decades. They have repeatedly been the subject of tabloids for their numerous violent spats and domestic arguments. They have two children – daughter Jessica who was born in 1992 and son Harrison, born 1999.
Jackie Pascoe-Webb is played by Gillian Taylforth on Footballers' Wives. She is mother to Earl Park's superstar striker, Kyle Pascoe. She has another son, Paddy, from her relationship with former Sparks' bad boy captain, Jason Turner. Jackie is now married to Sparks manager, Roger Webb. Jackie has always given her all to ensure that her loved ones, especially Kyle, get the very best in life.
