Biography

Born on March 30, 1967 in Huntsville, Alabama, Gerald McCullouch is an award-winning actor, director, singer and screenwriter. The Irish-American showed interest in the performing arts at an early age, and got his first job at 16 years old. Back then, he was known as a singer at Six Flags Over Georgia, particularly in the country western revue.

Though he was offered a scholarship to Savannah College of Art and Design, he opted to enroll at Florida State University and took up their BFA Musical Theatre Program. A car crash befell him during his sophomore year, leaving him in a coma. When he was cured, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia to kick off his career in the entertainment industry. He began with commercials and print campaigns, but his varied resume includes stage productions and stand-up comedy as well.

McCullouch is known for being the recurring guest host of FYE! on E!TV, in addition to playing the title role in the European tour of Jesus Christ Superstar. He also gained fame for his television and film work, particularly his role as Bobby Dawson on the CBS television series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Earlier on, he appeared on the original Beverly Hills, 90210, Chicago Hope, Melrose Place and 7th Heaven.

Branching out to directing, Gerald McCullouch received critical acclaim for his short film known as The Moment After. He has also been seen on other shorts, such as Hungry for Love.
