Biography

Actress Genelle Williams was born on February 18, 1984 in Toronto, Canada. Inclined towards acting from a young age, she trained under Dean Armstrong, who starred in the American version of Queer as Folk. Her early work was focused on Canadian television, ultimately breaking out in the teen series Radio Free Roscoe; her work on that, and Degrassi: The Next Generation, would earn her a degree of fame in the United States, when both series were aired there.

Williams has also appeared in several films, making her first credited debut in The Lazarus Child. Her other films include It’s a Boy Girl Thing, The Incredible Hulk, and Saving God. Recently, she starred in another television series, The Latest Buzz, and she took a role in the upcoming series Warehouse 13.
