Gbenga Akinnagbe

Gbenga Akinnagbe studied at Colonel Zadok A. Magruder High School in Rockville, Maryland and later at Bucknell University on a wrestling scholarship. He majored in Political Science and English. As an actor, he first appeared on the HBO series The Wire in 2002. He played drug organization enforcer and crew chief Chris Partlow until 2008. Simultaneously, he also appeared on Barbershop as Yinka from 2005 to 2006. In 2010, he was cast as Pastor Isaiah Easton on The Good Wife. He later played Kelly Slater on the Showtime series Nursge Jackie for several episodes. In 2012, he appeared as Walid Cooper on Damages, and the following year as Jeremiah Bello on Graceland. At present, he is part of the FOX limited series 24: Live Another Day.

Some of Akinnagbe's movie credits include roles in Home, Big Words, The Savages, Edge of Darkness, and The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3.
