Fu Dog is the 600-year old Shar Pei in the animated series American Dragon: Jake Long. He is Luong Lao Shi’s only companion. Aside from being able to talk, he can walk upright and is very skilled when it comes to mixing potions. His featured products include a power-draining potion, a transformation potion, a magic snare and a portal spell to name a few. He also helps Jake in various aspects of his duties. Although he is old, he habitually keeps up-to-date with current events and trends which often put him at odds with Luong Lao Shi.
