Professional skater Fred Palascak was born on April 2, 1975 in Parma, Ohio. He is part of a husband-and-wife ice skating team, joining his spouse Melanie Lambert. They started their partnership in 1994, earning several accolades in the arena. Though they turned professional in 1999, they got married in 2003. While they were still competitive skaters, however, they were known for being two-time United States Eastern Sectional champions and had two top-10 finishes at the national championships.
Fred Palascak and Melanie Lambert have also appeared on several ice dance entertainment shows. They were even contestants on the UK television series, Dancing on Ice. During season 2, Palascak found himself paired up with newsreader Kay Burley. He returned the next season, working with TV presenter Sarah Greene. Despite being the first couple to be voted off, he returned to take actress Zaraah Abrahams as his dancing partner.
During the next season of Dancing on Ice, Palascak joined Melinda Messenger and ended up being voted off in week 7 of the show. He had another run during season 5, working with Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack.
When that wrapped up, the professional skater was asked to join ABC's 2010 season of Skating with the Stars. There, he was paired up with Rebecca Budig of All My Children fame.
