Ethan Zohn Biography:
Born on November 12, 1973 in Lexington, Massachusetts, soccer player Ethan Zohn was a student at Vassar College, where he was a goalkeeper for the school’s soccer team and a Biology major. He began his professional career with the United Soccer Leagues teams, Hawaii Tsunami and Cape Cod Crusaders, and with the Zimbabwe Highlanders Football Club. After he participated in Survivor: Africa, Zohn became the co-host of MSG Networks’ Metro Soccer Report and the host of the Fox Soccer Channel’s FC Fox. As a huge supporter of charitable pursuits, Zohn is affiliated with the Elizabeth Glazer Pediatric Aids organization, YouthAids and Colon Cancer Alliance.
His participation on Survivor: Africa was successful, as he emerged the competition’s Sole Survivor and winner of one million dollars. Staying true to his charitable side, Zohn used the prize money to establish a non-profit organization called Grassroot Soccer, which aims to gather soccer players around the world and get them to fight the outbreak of AIDS in Africa.
Zohn was asked to compete in the reality series’ special season, Survivor: All-Stars, where he was initially placed in the Saboga tribe. During the 5th episode, Zohn became a member of the Mogo-Mogo tribe, and was ultimately voted out after 21 days.
