Erika Michelle Landin was born on December 5, 1970, and worked as a Pilates Instructor from Chicago, Illinois. She enjoys playing golf and softball, but also takes the time to go hiking with her dogs. Erika loves to go dancing, and she was able to show off her skills on the big screen when she appeared in the film Dance with Me. Erika also landed a role in the teen horror flick, The Scorned. Some of her favorite television shows are Everybody Loves Raymond, Lost
and Grey's Anatomy
. She greatly admires a number of show business personalities, including Tom Hanks, Harrison Ford, Michelle Pfeiffer and Julia Roberts.
As one of the thirteen contestants on Big Brother 4, she experienced an unpleasant surprise when she learned that her ex-boyfriend, Robert Roman, would also be a part of the competition. However, as the game progressed, Erika and Robert managed to rebuild their friendship and form a secret alliance. They made it all the way to the Final Four, and because Robert won the Head of Household challenge, he chose to nominate Alison Irwin
and Jun Song. Unfortunately for Erika, Jun won the Power of Veto and immediately picked Erika to replace her as a nominee. Erika was evicted off the house on Day 68.
When Erika returned to the Big Brother house in Big Brother: All-Stars, she again managed to make it all the way to the top of the pack, with the help of her strong alliances and connections. She also got romantically involved with her housemate, Mike Malin
, but the latter supposedly set up the relationship as a way to push her out of the competition. Erika shared the Final Two spots with Mike, and prior to losing the game to Mike, had been nominated for eviction five times and was Head of Household during week 8.
Since leaving the show, she has appeared on a number of commercials. She also worked as a casting director for other reality shows like The Amazing Race and The Bachelor.
