Erik Huffman appears as a contestant on the 15th season of the hit CBS reality television series, Survivor: China. He was born on January 31, 1981, and is a native of Greenville, South Carolina, though he presently lives in Nashville, Tennessee. From a young age, he was athletic and active in numerous sports, doing his best in baseball and football. He likewise shone academically as he competed in the Greenville County Spelling Bee when he was 10 years old, and was ranked top 10 out of his entire high school graduating class. He also kept playing football during high school, as well as participating in track and field.
Sadly, however, he lost his chance of being a college football player when he broke his leg during his high school senior year. On the other hand, for track, his specialty was the triple jump, even qualifying and competing during the state championships. He later on studied at and graduated from Furman University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration in 2003. He has also previously studied at Griffith University in Queensland, Australia. Among his past occupations are waiter and sporting goods sales representative. He found success as an advertising model for a number of notable brands, such as Hanes, Abercrombie & Fitch, Macy’s, and Target.
