Born on February 10, 1987, Ebony Taylor is from Sylmar, California. She was a student at Cleveland Humanities Magnet High School in Reseda, where her senior class voted her "Most Likely to be Seen on the Red Carpet." She is the co-founder of the high school's Women of Color Coalition (WOCC) and was a homecoming court member for three straight years. During her freshman year, she was crowned Freshman princess, and when she got a bit older, she decided to take on small jobs in the community in order to help ease her family's financial burden.
When she made it to the Finals of America's Next Top Model Cycle 5, Noelle immediately became popular for her catch phrase, "Don't Get It Twisted." She was the youngest contestant in Cycle 5, and during makeover week, received hair extensions and braids from Tyra Banks. However, her new look didn't exactly result in great pictures, and for this, Ebony was the second to be eliminated from the show.
After her brief stint in America's Next Top Model, Cycle 5, Ebony went on to pursue her modeling career rigorously. Working under both Uber Model Management and Face Model Management, Ebony has had the opportunity to model for different fashion moguls in other countries like Australia and Hong Kong. She has also worked on the runway during several Fashion Week events, which featured collections from Uriel Sanez, A Friend of Mine Clothing, Candice Held, Sharagano and Antique Denim. When she appeared on an episode of The Tyra Banks Show, she told the supermodel that she was sexually abused as a child, and that before her family (which consisted of Ebony, her mother and her four sisters) moved to Sylmar, they were living inside their car. She has since been busy working as a spokesmodel for Italian and French clothing brands.
