Diamond White sang her first song when she was just six years old. When she was eight, she starred in a production of The Color Purple and later, appeared on The Maury Povich Show in an episode that featured talented kids.

Diamond Whiteauditioned for The X Factor with the song "It's a Man's Man's World" and eventually survived boot camp and joined judge Britney Spears' team.

A fan favorite going into the live shows Diamond White performed Train's "Hey, Soul Sister." And in a bit of a shock was eliminated the following night.

Believing a mistake was made, Diamond White was asked back and continued on the show. She performed "I Have Nothing" and ranked number 4 in the voters rankings.

For diva week the 13 year old sang "Halo" by Beyonce.

The next week White dedicated her performance to her mom and sang "Because you Loved Me" by Celine Dion.

It was during the Top 6 that Diamond White struggled to get the votes. After performing "It's A Man's World" again and America's song choice, "Diamonds" by Rihanna she had to sing for the save. Performing "I Hope You Dance" by LeeAnn Womack she was eliminated.
