Biography

Dez Duron is a member of Christina Aguilera's team on The Voice season 3.

Duron first audition on "The Voice" for season after he dropped out of Yale to pursue his music career, but none of the judges pushed their buttons. Instead of going back to college, he honed his musical skills. Now that he made on season 2, he hopes that he and his music will sideline the competition. His musical influences include Elvis Presley, Robin Thicke, and Stevie Wonder.

Duron was eliminated during the Top 8 results show on "The Voice" season 3.

Fun Facts

During the blind auditions, Duron sang "Smile" by Hall and Oates. Cee Lo Green, Christina Aguilera, and Blake Shelton all turned around and he chose Christina.

He won his battle round singing "Just the Way You Are" by Bruno Mars against Paulina and then won his knockout round singing "Stuck on You" by Lionel Richie against Alessandra Guercio.

During the playoff round, he sang "Wanted" by Hunter Hayes. He got the most votes from Team Christina and he moves on as one of the top 12.

He performed "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" by Lauren Hill for his Top 12 performance and was voted through to the next round.

Duron then pulled off a confident performance when he sang "Feeling Good" by Michael Buble for his Top 10 performance and was once again voted to the next round.

For the next round, Duron performed "U Smile" by Justin Bieber. However, he got voted off from the competition the next results show.
