Debbie DuPree appears in the Cartoon Network Adult Swim animated series Sealab 2021, parodying the original Hanna-Barbera cartoon Sealab 2020. She is the only female member of the crew, and is ostensibly a marine biologist. However, she’s shown to be a beautiful but stereotypically dumb blonde, getting angry and upset at the men when they do idiotic and chauvinistic things. At one point, she says that her biological clock has gone off, and she embarks on a search among the men of the crew to find out who would make a good a father for her yet-to-be-conceived baby.
She also has an alternate form known as “Black Debbie,” and has had sex numerous times with Dr. Quinn and even Captain Murphy at one time. She’s also known to pack attractive dresses for herself instead of wetsuits during rescue operations. Debbie gets married to a man named Hesh, and she’s also part of the team that is shrunk down and enters Captain Tornado Shanks’ body in order to rid him of the tumor growing on his head. She celebrates her 30th birthday at least five times, and becomes strongly devoted to religion later on, even speaking in tongues to prove her faith.
