David Weidoff

Biography

Actor David Weidoff might not have a lot of experience backing him up, but he’s working on being a fresh face on television. He began his career in 2006, playing the character Alistair on the comedy horror film Evil Bong, directed by Charles Band and starring Tommy Chong. His first role wasn’t that big of a success, but he persevered. Weidoff then landed a part on the hit series Scrubs. He played an intern on the season 6 episode “My Perspective.” Despite his small role, it enabled him to work alongside renowned actors like Zach Braff, Sarah Chalke, Donald Faison, Neil Flynn, John C. McGinley, Judy Reyes and Ken Jenkins.

In 2007, David Weidoff was cast as Chad Buckley on the show Crossing Jordan. He was seen on season 6’s “Night of the Living Dead,” with series regulars like Miguel Ferrer, Jill Hennessy, Ravi Kapoor, Kathryn Hahn and Steve Valentine. Weidoff then found himself playing a recurring character on the award-winning series Gilmore Girls. He was chosen for the role of Tim, and was seen on two episodes: “Lorelai? Lorelai?” and “Introducing Lorelai Planetarium.” In 2007, Weidoff landed the part of Josh Ryan on Numb3rs. Afterwards, he was chosen for the role of Thom on the ABC Family Channel series Roommates. His character is the lead male protagonist’s best friend, who’s quirkiness never gets in the way of his loyalty. He also believes that he can give great advice on dating, even though he lacks the experience to support his every word. Thom’s always there to depend on, even though he no longer lives with his best friend Mark. The show also stars Tyler Francavilla, Dorian Brown, Tamera Mowry and Tommy Dewey.

Other than his work on television, Weidoff has had roles on films. His credits include Uncomfortable Moments and Photosynthesis.
