Australian actor David Lyons is best known for his role as Leading Seaman Josh Holiday on the Australian drama Sea Patrol and as Dr. Simon Brenner on the long-running NBC medical series ER. He graduated from Australia’s National Institute of Dramatic Art with a degree in Performing Arts in Acting in 2004. His other screen credits include the 2008 comedy Four as Kit, the 2008 crime drama Cactus as Eli, the 2007 horror Storm Warning as Jimmy, and the 2005 comedy Elemenopee as Jimmy. In 2009, he was cast in the NBC sci-fi series Day One. In 2010, he bagged the lead as Vince Faraday in another NBC series The Cape. Two years later, he joined the cast of yet another NBC series, Revolution, as General Monroe. After the cancellation of Revolution, he moved on to play Jackson on Game of Silence.
